Book buying is never easy for me! For several reaons!
- I have over 500 books, so I sometimes forget what I have.
- I judge books by the cover
- Education and Gaming books are quickly out of date
- I’m addicted to pushing the “wish list” button
- I say I’ll buy one book, but it’s always 3
Today, I decided to go to my wish list. I decided that I wouldn’t limit myself to one book, I could get three! Which turned into 5. I’ll soon be posting reviews on the following:
- Game Design Workshop, Second Edition: A Playcentric Approach to Creating Innovative Games (Gama Network Series)” – Tracy Fullerton
- “The Art of Game Design: A Deck of Lenses” – Jesse Schell
- “The Art of Game Design: A book of lenses” – Jesse Schell
- “Developing Serious Games (Game Development Series)” – Bryan Bergeron
- “Challenges for Game Designers” – Brenda Brathwaite
Tonight, I’ll be digging out the rest of my game related books, so that I can edit by “wish list” and decided which books I still need to order!
